"The East Coast of Florida, A Narrative Description" By J.M. Hawks, M.D.
A facsimile reproduction of the 1887 edition completed in 1995 and sponsored by Lawrence J. Sweett.
First published in 1887, this early historic work with illustrations, was written by the founder of Hawks Park Florida, a city known today as Edgewater Florida. Just inside the front cover is a fold out map of the East Coast of Florida published by Lewis and Winship of Lynn Mass in 1887.
The inside cover indicates that the publication was entered into the Library of Congress by Hawks that same year.
