First compiled by the Women's Auxiliary of the Christ Congregational Church in New Smyrna back in 1934. This historic cookbook includes over 120 local family recipes shared nearly 100 years ago along with some wonderful colorized post card images of New Smyrna Beach. Enjoy recipes in the categories of Breads, Fish & Shellfish, Meat and Poultry, Vegetables, Salads, Desserts, and Preserves.
The old cookbook was rescued from the trash by local historian Gary Luther in the mid 80's and was republished by Luther's publishing in 2000. The New Smyrna Museum of History is proud to continue sharing these wonderful family recipes in the format that they was first published, avoiding digital influences.
