Red Guava Jelly. E.B. Veronee moved to St. Augustine after loosing his pineapple farm to a killer freeze that impacted the entire State of Florida in the late 1800's. He began making and selling Red Guava Jelly to the Pullman Corporation for use in the dining cars of the Florida East Coast Railway. Luckily for us all, family members of Mr. Veronee relocated cuttings from his Red Guava trees here to New Smyrna Beach and have been making Red Guava Jelly using the same recipe and fruit from the same tree stock that was used by Mr. Veronee in those early years. You won't be disappointed by the wonderful unique flavor of this this local favorite, order your jar today!
