"Old Days - Old Ways" by Lois Veronee Tipton signed copy. "Old Days - Old Ways" is a compilation of memories, changes, growth, and profiles of people who have lived in the gentile little town of New Smyrna Beach, located on the East coast of Florida. The complexion of how this town has grown since Andrew Turnbull founded it in the year 1768, is reflected in the author's experience of being born and raised here, and records her remembrances of 80 years. Lois Tipton is a 4th generation Floridian, and her stories, which appeared in the local newspaper, The Observer, for five years, contain some history of how the town has prospered. These columns focus on the people who were and are responsible for its successes: native New Smyrnans as well as new-comers to Florida have enjoyed them.
